As for a part of movable jib crane, to run smoothly on a curve rail, the
truck structure has installed the lever mechanism in the one side support
part by right and left asymmetry. Because of this lever mechanism, it was
difficult to estimate a necessary power as the extension of the past.
With this background, when having calculated with 3/D software for multi-
body dynamics, the result of which fell far below than the expected travel
resistance. The validity of the numerical result was confirmed in this
case compared with the actual measurement value.
